![]() Wayside Inn, 1901 Wayside Inn, the IOOF Home of Western Pennsylvania, was established in 1901, with additions built throughout the years. Originally for Brothers of the Fellowship and their widows, the decision was made many years ago to accept admissions from the community and general public, regardless of membership in the Order. As state and federal regulations became more stringent, a new, modern facility was necessary. ![]() New Orchard Manor facility in 1976 Today, Orchard Manor is a 121 bed facility, licensed for skilled care by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall operation of the Home, and ensures that a professional, competent staff is on duty 24 hours a day. Our goal is to provide quality nursing and medical care to the aged and infirm, which promotes the highest practical, physical, mental psychosocial well-being of each individual, in as close to home-like setting as possible. ![]() Aerial view of the current facility |
